i am not sure where to even begin this post. i won’t say much except that this was a very special shoot for a very special family. meet rebecca. she is one of the sweetest and silliest two-year-olds i have met! she is beautiful – soft, pale skin and gorgeous strawberry hair. today she just played. played with her mom, with her 4-year-old twin sisters and with her dolls. at her house. in her normal, everyday clothes. this is what mom wants to cherish – this two year old as she is. rebecca has mitochondrial disease and is fighting an uphill battle. her precious mom, joy (whose name is more fitting than you could EVER imagine) has done an amazing job of keeping an updated blog about their journey with rebecca. i hope i was able to capture this sweetie in the way that her family sees her. joy – you are an amazing woman and an encouragement and blessing to many.
